CCA Southern California Regional Meeting

June 7 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

June 7 – CCA Southern California Regional Meeting

On behalf of the CCA Regional Fellowship Committee, Fred Bennett and Deborah Rothman invite all CCA Fellows to a CCA Regional Meeting in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday, June 7, 2018, beginning at noon Pacific at: Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, 865 S. Figueroa St., 10th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90017.

Program topic: Tips for Solo Arbitrators to Comply with Ethical Responsibilities to Safeguard Confidential Electronic Data

This topic has been teed up as a priority by AAA President India Johnson, who recently noted that arbitration has a unique weak link: the arbitrators themselves, many of whom are sole practitioners working from home. “Our next mission is to raise the technological capability of panelists … so we will be requiring that they get to a certain level and have certain capabilities,” she said.

This program is free of charge to all CCA Fellows, but an advance RSVP is required. Please join us if you will be in town that day, even if you don’t live in the area. It’s a great opportunity to meet up with CCA friends, and to get to know other Fellows better, as well as to take advantage of CCA’s cutting-edge professional offerings. CCA president Rich Silberberg is also making arrangements to fly to California so that he can meet with us at this event.

Please RSVP in advance to Deborah Rothman at drthmedarb@aol.com. In order to make this event particularly helpful, kindly include in your reply whether you primarily use a MAC or a PC for arbitration-related documents.
