Experience:

David has served as arbitrator in over 70 commercial and intellectual property disputes throughout the United States, with matters seated in Minnesota, California, Texas, New York, Florida, Wisconsin, Illinois, North Carolina and other states. He has 35 years experience as a trial lawyer, handling commercial and intellectual property cases and appeals throughout the country.

Work History:

After serving as law clerk to the United States District for the District of Minnesota, David joined the Minneapolis office of Lindquist and Vennum, where he was an associate, partner, and of counsel through 2017. He served at times as chair of the firm's litigation department and practice leader of the firm's intellectual property practice group. In 2018, David formed Allgeyer Law & ADR, devoted to serving as an arbitrator and mediator.

Cases:

David's commercial arbitrations have resolved contract and warranty disputes involving enterprise-wide computer systems, semi-conductor manufacturing, automotive parts manufacturing, textile manufacturing technology, corporate governance, insurance financing, insurance coverage, and other matters. David’s intellectual property- related arbitrations have resolved disputes concerning patents, trade secrets, copyrights and trademarks in the bio-manufacturing, petroleum, consumer product manufacturing, and sales, security, medical products, and other industries.
